Methodology
At Capris we engage with a very simple but effective application
development model.
The main components of which include:
Assess: Business processes
and requirements together with site objectives are evaluated
against corporate goals. It is necessary to ensure that your
site is aligned with your business model and is able to support
and ultimately communicate your message in a way that is consistent
with your corporate objectives. If these are not clear, we
will assist you in defining them and making them a reality!
Architect: After requirements have been understood,
documented and aligned against business objectives, the process
of architecting the solution begins. In many cases this is
a very simplistic process. However in dynamic sites with e-business
functionality, interfaces to other backend processes may be
necessary. This may include interfaces to inventory, pricing
tables, shipping information, payment and policy terms. The
process of developing a comprehensive architecture plan will
address these interface requirements as well as permit scalability
for future growth or ongoing changes.

Develop: The actual construction of the application
is a thorough and interactive experience with you, the client.
Development work is done on a Capris development server. Client
access to this server is permitted on a periodic basis to
enable clients to review their site online while still under
development. This ongoing review process ensures that you
are an interactive partner in the development of your own
application and that changes are accommodated during this
process, and not at the very end when the application is ready
for delivery.
Deploy: Launching your application
online is a proud moment for you and Capris. The launch is
a testament to the work we have done as your partner and a
new chapter in your
business or online experience. One that will compliment your
image, your visibility and most importantly your bottom line!
